St Anthony’s Breakfast and After School Club are available to all parents/carers who work or have additional commitments before the school day commences or once it finishes and need a few extra hours of childcare support.
The clubs are led by enthusiastic, inspiring and passionate individuals who are DBS checked to Enhanced Level and hold qualifications/have extensive experience in Play work/Childcare. There is a Paediatric First Aid trained member of staff on site at all times.
At the clubs, children mix with other pupils that attend the school and can choose to participate in games that are linked to the curriculum or have free play.
Breakfast Club (BC)
Children get dropped off by parents between 7.30am and 8am. The session starts at 7:30am, (Mon-Fri). The cost is £5 per morning.
Breakfast is provided. Items include a selection of cereals, toast, milk, water and fruit.
All children are escorted to their class at the end of the session.
After School Club (ASC)
All pupils are collected from their class as soon as school has finished and accompanied to the club by one of the club workers.
A snack is available for children. Healthy Eating Guidelines are followed and a hot or cold snack is provided, for example sandwiches, baked beans on toast, fruit. All the children sit down together for their snack. Food will also be available for children who arrive later (after attending an extra-curricular club).
Parents/Carers can pick up from 5pm and by 5,45pm at the latest. All children must be signed out by an adult over 16 who is a named collector on that child’s registration form.
The cost of ASC is £15 per day.

Frequently Asked Questions
How Do I pay for ASC/BC?
You can pay for both ASC and BC in cash via the school office. We do not currently accept credit card payments. You can also pay using childcare vouchers. Please speak to someone in the office for assistance if you wish to pay using childcare vouchers. We do ask that payment for the clubs are made in advance or on the day of attendance.
Does my child need to bring anything with them?
No. Please ensure any clothing items brought to ASC or BC club are clearly labelled. Please ensure children do not bring any valuable toys or belongings with them.
My child is going to be absent or I need to cancel a session, what should I do?
You can cancel your sessions though the school office by calling 020 8778 7681 or emailing admin@st-anthony’s.bromley.sch.uk
What if my child requires medication whilst at the club?
Any child requiring medication, including inhalers, cannot attend until we have our own supply of the medication. ASC/BC workers can only administer prescribed medication. Please ensure you hand any medication required to the school office and complete a Permission to Administer Medicine form. (If your child requires regular medication, we recommend that you supply the club with extra medication which can be stored to avoid regular transfer.)

What is the booking deadline for After School Club sessions?
You can book up to 2:30pm on the requested day. ASC is popular so it is advisable that you book in advance where possible as we can’t always guarantee spaces for on the day booking requests.
How do I collect my child and can I pick them up at any time?
Parents can collect from the after school club from 5pm until 5.45pm. All children must be signed out by 5.45pm. Late Fees of £5 per 15 minutes are applied for late collections. You must inform us as soon as possible if your child will be collected late. Only people listed on the registration and who are 16 years of age or older can collect.
Do BC and ASC provide food?
Yes, a healthy and nutritious snack will be provided when your child arrives at the club and drinking water will always be available. This is not a meal replacement.
What happens if someone else needs to pick up my child?
Only people listed as a Collector can pick up your child. You can easily add collectors to your child’s file at the school office. All additional collectors must be completed in writing with full name and telephone number on the collection form. Any person collecting your child must be over 16 years of age.
My child is going to be absent or I need to cancel a session, what should I do?
You can cancel your sessions by calling the school office on 020 8778 7681 or emailing admin@st-anthony’s.bromley.sch.uk It is parents’ responsibility to ensure the school know that their child will not be attending after school club. The cost of the session is chargeable where the school have not been informed of an absence.
Can my child also attend an extra-curricular club after school?
It is fine for your child to attend a school run or extra-curricular club after school. Your child will be escorted from their extra-curricular club to ASC.
What happens on the last day of term if school finishes early?
If school finishes early there is no ASC provision.
